Used to be the norm that we’d receive EADs or Travel Documents within about 3 months of filing. That all changed during the last few years with the previous administration and COVID forcing us to file multiple #mandamus actions to simply allow our clients to lawfully work.
However, we received some hopeful good news today that a client we filed for AOS back in April is getting their EAD card produced today, only 4 months later. It’s too early to say whether this is a trend or an outlier, but definitely worth monitoring as we see whether USCIS lives up to its promise of speeding up processing times.
