Temporary Work Visas

Non-immigrant visas allow foreign nationals to come to the United States to work on a temporary basis. Each visa category has specific eligibility requirements that must be established prior to approval.

  • Specialty Occupation Workers/Fashion Models (H-1B) :
    For employers wishing to hire foreign nationals i n positions that require at l east bachelor degree (specialty occupations) or as fashion models.
  • Specialty Occupation Workers from Chile or Singapore(H-1B1) :
    Temporary work visa specifically for immigrants f rom Chile and Singapore working i n specialty occupations.
  • Exchange Visitor Program (J-1):
    Exchange visitors, research scholars, and professors participating i n cultural exchange programs.
  • Intracompany Transferees (L-1) :
    Individuals working for an overseas subsidiary, parent, branch or affiliate of a US company who are coming to work i n a specialized knowledge (L-1B) or executive/managerial position (L-1A) .
  • Individuals of Extraordinary Ability or Achievement (O-1) :
    Foreign nationals who possess extraordinary ability in the sciences, arts, education, business, or athletics.
  • Internationally Recognized Athletes or Entertainers (P-1):
    Internationally recognized entertainers or athletes competing at an internationally recognized l evel of performance.
  • Nonimmigrant Religious Workers (R-1):
    Individuals coming to the US to work as a minister or other religious occupation for a religious organization.
  • TN NAFTA Professionals :
    For companies seeking to employ Mexican or Canadian workers i n a profession l isted in NAFTA.
